Meet the Owner of GoFox Central Otago
Ben Cadogan
A Central Otago local at heart, Ben grew up in the small township of Clyde before heading to the Southern Lakes to complete his electrical apprenticeship. Qualified in 2015, Ben has been a registered electrician for over a decade, with more than half his career spent servicing the Central Otago region.
Ben moved to Cromwell to embrace a more family-focused lifestyle for himself and his son, quickly feeling at home and putting down strong roots in the local community. In 2024, he took the next step in his journey, starting his own electrical business and later joining the GoFox network to strengthen the service he provides locally.
Ben specialises in renovation work and residential electrical services, along with ongoing property maintenance for rental agencies and property managers throughout Central Otago. He is passionate about improving electrical safety standards and helping properties stay compliant with New Zealand’s Healthy Homes requirements.
With experience across new builds, residential maintenance, and commercial repairs, Ben takes pride in finding practical solutions and delivering reliable, high-quality workmanship for every job.
